The selection of art at Vinge has primarily focused on highlighting younger Swedish artists. Recent additions to the collection include Omid Delafrouz, Cajsa von Ziepel and Johan Bergström Hylldahl. This means that during the years we rotate or replace works creating a dynamic and inspiring environment. That said masterpieces have remained, creating a core DNA of the collection including Karin Mamma Andersson, Annika von Hausswolff and Jockum Nordström. Thus, over time, we have built a collection of high-quality works that are an important part of our brand. We actively engage in communicating around our collection through private tours of our head office, artist talks and temporary exhibitions at our reception area.
While we focus on innovation, artistic integrity and endurance in our acquisitions process, there are several themes within the collection that have developed over time. Many of the works in the collection address ideas around memory and identity – subjects that are important and individual to each of us. That said many visitors to us discover an underlying and subtle humor in the way these subjects are treated, not taking them lightly but rather disarming us and helping us approach them from another perspective.
